I finally understand what's mat burn yesterday and it got worse today. It really sucks to the core. At least it didn't really bother me when I was sparring today. It's just very uncomfortable during the warming up period.
Just wanna say to my fellow judokas cheer up ok! You all look damn down today after training especially Ricky and Jasmine. I guess we are really under quite a lot of stress such that sometimes we tend to under-perform. Uncle Sul nagged at my wols reaction again today when I was sparring with Aloysius leading to me getting slammed twice my a shoulder drop. It sucks though I manage to throw him once this time round. But still he SLAMMED me. Not much difference I guess. How the hell do once improve on their reflexes? Can anyone tell me?
Gerald Lim came up and told me to relax myself again. I know relaxing myself does help me but under such intense conditions I really wonder how to relax myself when I myself am pretty desperate at this moment. Desperate to get my throw correct, desperate to absorb as much as possible in this short period of time. Who else isn't when competition is only in a few weeks time?
Anyway, just hang in there people! We can't do it today doesn't mean we can't do it tommorrow! Perservere people!
