Sometimes I really wonder what I want in my life. Especially during such a critical part of the 'journey'. Part of me really want to do well for my Block Test and score well the other part of me want to win in the National School Championship. It's real hard to be an all-rounder. At least for me.
The mugging can't stop. I can't afford to sacrifice my A-levels and my dreams. On the other hand, winning is also part of my dreams. Beating my stronger opponents on the dojo and outstand them brings me satisfation too.
I was roaming through Judo Info
http://judoinfo.com/menu.htm the other day and I came across this...
"Excellence can be attained if you care more than others think is wise, risk more than others think is safe, dream more than others think is practical, and expect more than others think is possible."Looking through those videos did make me embrace the feeling of being a champion. Really. Pherhaps it was because the real training for the championship hasn't start yet that's why I've been feeling these way. I seriously hope so. I just can't stop thinking that I haven't done enough to make me get an Ippon and most importatnlt- my medal...
"The reason most people never reach their goals is that they don't define them, or ever seriously consider them as believable or achievable. Winners can tell you where they are going, what they plan to do along the way, and who will be sharing the adventure with them." Denis Waitley, author of The Psychology of WinningI guess I need the motivation the get into full gear again and hopefully tomorrow training would do the trick =)
