Thank You.

Today finally marks the official end of my ny judo life. I know it's not going to end here but it's just that I'm no longer representing Team NYJC anymore. Stepped down already. No more "Soo Qin Qi from NYJC" anymore....
Judo has really played an important part in my JC life. A large part actually. I've to admit, I'm more attached and closer to you guys than my CT. The time I'd committed is one good reason why...
I could still remember the first time I ever stepped into the MPR and the dojo. It's a "wow!" feeling. Everything seems so cool (and it is still now) and amazing. Coach Tan and Cheryl (our ex-coach) were the first 2 coaches I met. Coach Tan's friendliness and Cheryl's encouraging words made me really feel great even though I can't do a SIMPLE FORWARD ROLL properly! haha! I was so clumsy and silly! Total noob! hahaha!
Saw Sul only on the 2nd training and wondered who's this pretty good looking guy. haha! Thought he a temporary coach only to realise he ain't and that made jeslin and me real excited! haha! Ben's constant laming and crapping and the other seniors friendliness made me more determine to be part of them.
I don't know why I thought that way but then, I really want to catch up up with those first 3 months J1 judokas and surpass them. haha! Silly thinking right? From 2 distinct cliques ( before and after 1st 3 months), we have become 1 in the end =) The constant MSN mass chattings did work to a certain extent I guess! hahaha!
I guess I'm pretty blessed. Really blessed in fact. To have Cheryl as my direct mentor from the start kinda feel bad as she's always coaching me alone only =X Being part of the team as the only J1 then. Bringing the team and school glory then was really great. It's the first time I ever felt that way....
J1 year was carefree and fun. Trained and trained. Sadly, Cheryl had to leave due to her studies. I guess that's why Sul become closer to us. The introduction to Budo was great. Never know such judo club exsist till Sul brought us there. It's great knowing that there're other people who share the same passion with you and are training as young as 5! We were real shy with them at first but as time passed, I guess we hit off pretty well =)
J2 life is no doubt stressful but coming to trainings always cheer me up. haha!
The various competitions had broaden my thoughts and sights. Being being to win in competitions is like my effort being paid off and seeing the fruit of my labour. Friends I had made from various schools through compeitions and external trainings are great too =)
Just wanna say some stuff to some people who played an important role in my 1 year plus judo life in NYJC...
To Sul:
A big big THANK YOU! You've been more than a coach me I think. More like a brother cum mentor already. haha! You never have that air around you or act that way. Really enjoy your story telling sessions in between trainings and on MSN =) haha! (Sul's gossipy too ok! LOL! More story on that later...) Anyway, thanks for believing and having faith in me that I could wack those brown belters =) I guess trainings in Budo did helped to build the rapport among many of us and it helps. All the best with the training with the Prince! haha! Don't miss us too much!
To EXCO 2005- 2006:
Thanks. Really really appreciate it guys and babes! I totally enjoyed working with ya. You people never fails me despite the tight schedule and time frame I gave you. You people have been a lovely bunch. Holding the role as Captain was no joke. Though lot's of people expected it, the responsibilty and uplifting the role as Captain was there. Thank you for the faith and trust you people have in me. =)
To Jiemeis:
Though we were formed only this year but I really treassure the time we spent together. The gossip sessions were great! haha! Never fails to get me high and anutie-like! hahaha! I guess it's the quality time we spent together and not how long it was formed =)
I know this friendship won't stop right here. I got faith in everyone of you. Must meet up more often ok. Having you people around really make training more fun and enjoyable. *muahx*
To Girls' Team: You babes rock my world! I know the results were depressing and I was depressed for over a long period of time. But thanks for being there and sharing the woes with me. I guess the friendship and trust we had built among ourselves make me real touched. It's realy great being part of the team with you babes and going through everything with ya=) Rock on babes!
To J1s:

Thanks for the catus and the card. You've been very nice juniors =) Must train hard ok. Know that the number is shrinking and it's pretty bad but hold on together ya? Encourage each other on. Have faith and trust in one another. Press on!
Back to Sul being gossipy. haha! He totally like wanna dig our (jes, jas and me) secrets out on the car to Serangoon Gardens just now! haha! And that Kitson actually blurted it out la! Blehx! And that Sul ar... hopefully he can just forget it =S haha!
I'm very certain judo is never going to end here for me. Qinqi's taking a 4 months break from now only =) There's just so many things that I've not learn and yet to discover yet! I still haven't win by a proper Ippon yet! haha! My journey is going to be continues in December I guess...
