Day5It's a free and easy day and our last day in HK so the 3 of us decided to head to
Lantau Island to see the Giant Buddha on our own. We took a cable car up there and the ride took 20minutes! There's an alternative route that is by bus but the time you will take is 40minutes to 1hour. Morever, we heard the route is pretty bumpy and not as safe as the cable car. Anyway, the scenary is pretty awsome =) As Lantau Island is situated very near to HK airport, we could actually see planes taking off and landing from the cable car!
Acutally, I've to say I didn't get to explore some of the our parts of HK yet and I don't mind going there again in the future. hehe! Without the tour guide the next time of course. And I wanna do more effective retail therapy too! Have to brush up on my canto then! hehe! Learnt a bit of canto during my trip. From don't understand to knowing bits and peices of it. But communication in canto is still the best as it could get you the best price in those night markets =P hehehe!
I really love the night life there too! If only Singapore is as crowded as HK... Haix! I miss the cooling weather too! hahaha! I was feeling so warm when I reached home on Saturday morning and took some time to sleep! And how can I forget! The number of eye candies I spotted along the streets at night! hahaha! Some are real cute and their dressing sense are pretty good too^^
I miss HK!
Went to my aunt's chalet on Saturday as it was her little daughter 5th year old birthday. You should see the number of presents she received! I'm so jealous!!! hahaha!
Alright, the activities just can't stop for now. Chalet and camp are coming right up and of course my job hunting is still on. I need cold hard cash! Bbrrrr~

Sadly we didn't have time to tour the entire island as mom wanted to do some last minute shopping...
