Zone5 Charity Fair 2007 (07/01/07)
It was freaking hot and tiring. I was kena the cadet coordinator that day so wa running all about and giving instructions to the cadets. The hall is damn freaking dirty I tell ya! I got a total of 7 mosquitoe bites! SEVEN! What the fuck! What I suspect is these bites are unlike those normal ones cause there's puss coming out when I scratch them. Damn. Almost half of the people who turned up were late including me and jes. haha! But we rushed down from HQ alright! =p Anyway, it's kinda sad that the guys and girls are seating in separated tables so it's hard to interact with everyone. Well, I just it's expected that's why I always prefer chalets as it allow us to chill and really have a good chat =) Hopefully got to catch up with them soon as I was on a rush that day.
Headed to my 2nd aunt's (aka Mathew's Gandma) house soon after I got home. She was diagnosed with lung cancer a couple of months back and had just got her operation. According to the doctor "...the operation was a success..." But it was a total bullshit. She got herself into a coma and was stricken with stroke. How the fuck can the doctor claimed that is was a success? It was heartbreaking when I saw her a few days after the operation. In fact, tt still is. Thankfully, she recovers pretty quickly from the stroke and had returned home recently. But she's still having problems with her speech and I can see that she's really troubled by it. According to my mom, even though she's still able to live on but definitely her life span is being cut after this ordeal. It makes my eyes welled up everytime I held her hands when I said 'goodbye' to her cause I don't know if that's gonna be my last 'goodbye' to her...
Ok, enough of me emo-ing. When I see Mathew sometimes I see myself. It's the attitude. haha! Both of us are freaking attitude I tell ya! Cause there's this uncle who came by to drop a visit to my aunt but he keep disturbing Mathew and it's obvious that he doesn't like it. So no matter what Liling (Mathew's mom) said to him, he just won't address him. haha! I made a surprise discovery that day too. Not only does he looks like ang moh, he speaks like one too! haha! For you information, he's pure Chinese alright. Cute! hahaha! I guess it must be those english cartoons he loves to watch and we tend to speak english to him more often. I must say his english is pretty fluent for a 3 year old kid too =)
Nothing much these few days. Working life is boring. I miss the bimbotic Jessica! hahaha! Thankfully she's going to have her therapy session with another fellow bimbo-jiahui on Saturday! hehehe! Can't wait for it! =)
