That was one of the many interesting stuff I found while I was surfing aimlessly a while ago. It was like the most unfruitful day for studying ever. I woke up super late and felt lethargic, Alright, I managed to find some super cool sites such as
Taverne Agency &
Couch Surfing.
If you like photography, Taverne is the next big thing after Getty. At least that's what I think. The photos are divided into 4 main categories which are: Interior, Food, Travel, Themes & Concepts. Here's one for your sneak preview:

If you're into traveling and bag-packing, Couch Surfing (CS) is definitely a site that you must go to check out first. I got to know this site through Sally (one of my friend in German class) as she had gone for a solo bag-packing trip last year in Germany with much help from the site. Shortly after, CS was on the news as one of the things to look out for in this 2008. Basically, CS is about crashing over at someone's place while you're on a trip overseas for free. And it really surprise me that the community is so large! However, it is not necessary to host them especially for people like me who have restrictions to living conditions.
Alright, I better get going with my German revision right now.

Happy New Year my dear readers!
It's the 3rd day of CNY and I'm glad the visiting of relatives is finally done. I have an enormous family for both paternal and maternal side and in fact, 3 days of visiting doesn't include everyone.
Ang Pao collection wise was quite good. Besides
ang paos, and irritating relatives to entertain, I managed to catch up with some of my cousins and nephews.
My favourite nephews, Matthew & Caleb, looking ultra undressed as they just woke up =)

Matthew is the cool and introvert type while Caleb's the hyper and extrovert one. Well, I can't say who I love more cause they're so different and I love the difference! It makes them unique.
*muahx*
Alright, I got this plan to invest some of my ang pao money in a new camera and I'm deciding between a Sony T-10 and Panasonic FX-33:
Functions for both cameras are pretty similar. In fact, prices are same and both are made in Japan. The main differences are:
1) Sony is touch-screen which I don't really favour.
2) Panasonic comes with 25mm wide angle hence can capture 'bigger scene'.
3) Sony is sleeker.
4) Sony seems to be a better brand when it comes to camera.
I need some advices man! Sony or Panasonic?
On the other hand, maybe I shall wait till April. Hopefully someone can decide for me and get it as my birthday present! hahaha!

I'm finally done with 5th February!
It'd been the longest and most tiring day ever since school has started. There was IA (Introductory Accounting) in the morning followed by BS (Business Statistics) in the afternoon and lastly German at night! Okay, at least CNY eve is here (not that I feel the festive mood yet) and that means holidays and break!
Well, we finally got to see our local lecturers for IA & BS today as previous chapters were visiting lectures. They should have just taught us from the start man! Sophia Ji was so bloody unclear and I don't think what they (Sophia & Ashton) taught us were really relevant to the exam questions.
Anyway, Sami (lecturer for BS) has this super strong Indian accent and the way he teaches is so hilarious! Every time he wants to emphasis on a word or phrase, he will repeats it at least 3 times in his extra-strong Indian accent; occasionally talking to himself and has all sorts of weird actions to go along with. The fishy hand movement for positive/negative skew is super funny! Sometimes I wonder if he knows we're laughing at his accent. hehe!

She's amazed that she actually finished the 1st draft. Well, it was after much advise and pressure given to her. Pressure seems to be a good motivation for her these days. Nonetheless, she is still pretty hesitant on the product she produced. After all, it was the first in almost 1 year.
The call from the vice-president had confirmed her entry into the RMIT student council. She is looking forward to the 'investiture day' which involves a stay-over in some chalet and the announcement of which department she will be posted to.
Meantime, she is excited about the activities that are lined up for her during the weekend. The girl deserves a small treat before she continues her mugging again =)
